- SynopsisProduction footage for the OMNIBUS programme on Quentin Tarantino (tx. 25.10.94) of an interview with actor Steve Buscemi. Buscemi describes how he first came across the script for RESERVOIR DOGS, what he liked about the script, his first meeting with Tarantino at the Sundance Institute workshops, his audition for the role in the film, and the reception of RESERVOIR DOGS at a later Sundance Festival. He gives his views on the criticism Tarantino sometimes receives for basing his characters on those from other films rather than on real life. He compares working with Tarantino in the Sundance workshops and on the set of the film, his favourite scenes in the film, and what Tarantino is like to work with in relation to other directors on the American independent scene. Buscemi discusses Tarantino's use of violence and defends it. He relates why he has a relatively small role in PULP FICTION and how he believes this film is an advancement on RESERVOIR DOGS.
